Adam's Trivia!

Many_apples

Did you know that to-date, Adam’s BrunchBox has given out nearly 20,000 apples to our customers? That is a lot of apples! In fact, Gina (and the rest of the customer service team) would have said the famous phrase, “Don’t forget your free apple!” almost 25,000 times since we opened!

Welcome to Adam's Brunchbox

At Adam’s BrunchBox, we know what you really want. From satisfyingly greasy to scrumptiously gourmet, we’ve got it all here in one cosy shop!redapple

Adam’s BrunchBox is the creative brainstorm of Andrew Smith and Simon Yam, featuring a full-service modern Australian lunch bar located in prime location in Balcatta along busy Wanneroo Road in Perth, Western Australia. Andrew and Simon strive to create a trendy food joint that prides itself not only in serving good old-fashion Aussie lunchbar favourites, but also present a range of healthy delights that will definitely tantalise your tastebuds! We do not believe in promoting just ‘healthy eating’. We believe in being non-judgemental. We know what customers want at the end of the day, and we want to establish a food haven where we have a wide selection that caters to all kinds of diets and choices. Have a look at our mouth-watering menu!

Not only is the friendly atmosphere a perfect spot for tradies and office workers around the area to pick a delicious cup of latte or cappuccino up, but also to takeaway with them a delectable breakfast on-the-go, a brunch-size muffin or wrap, or a piping hot ‘Daddy Knows Best’ hot lunch meal for the day. Gourmet foods are prepared with love using the finest of ingredients incorporating an ensemble of local and seasonal products: from fresh salad selections to tenderly prepared baguettes and burgers, crispy fish and chips to succulent sandwiches. For a devilish decision to indulge in our all-time Aussie lunchbar favourites, we are still keeping to tradition with the likes of Mrs Macs pies and Chiko Rolls and exotic Asian dim sims. You name it, we got it!

Plus, every customer who visits us walks away with a free Adam’s Apple! It is our way of saying ‘thank you!’ for your service, and to ensure that you have a fresh fruit for the day. Our juicy apple will definitely bring a smile to your face!

Christmas_Menu_Cover
Adam’s BrunchBox has just released two catering new menus: Adam’s Buffets, and Adam’s Christmas Menu. Our Adam’s Buffets selection has been extremely popular since it was released 3 weeks ago, with a wide selection of hot foods, salads and deserts to choose from for your special event. Full service is available, and Chef Andrew endeavours to make the experience professional, satisfying and faultless. This menu is perfect for businesses planning to host a major function for special guests or customers who are putting together a special birthday or anniversary party.

This month, we are also releasing our Adam’s Christmas Menu. Even though it is 6 months before Christmas, many of you will most probably already be planning that festive get-together - whether it is for work or for home. You may even want to have a Aussie Christmas in July!

Both menus are available from the shop or online. Please do speak to either Chef Andrew or Simon if you want to discuss these menus further. Remember to book your Christmas catering early! You do not want to miss out!

Adam’s BrunchBox a ‘Top Three Finalist’ for the 2009 Stirling Best New Small Business Award

Finalist_group_photoHello to all our wonderful customers! Welcome to the August issue of APPEEL! One more month to go for winter and we’ll be right into Spring

To start off this issue, let me take the opportunity to inform everyone that Adam’s BrunchBox has been presented with a ‘Finalist for the 2009 Australia Post Stirling Best New Business Award’ certificate!

This fantastic gala event was organised and hosted by the Stirling Business Association and was conducted on the 31st July 09. There were nine categories for the 2009 Australia Post Stirling Small Business Awards event, and Adam’s BrunchBox was nominated as a finalist in the Best New Business Award category. This was the only category we submitted an entry for.

Although the total number of entrants remain confidential, we do gather that there were record numbers of submissions this year from businesses located within the City of Stirling which covers 29 suburbs including Balcatta, Innaloo, Dianella, Karrinyup, Osborne Park, Scarborough, Mirrabooka and Mt Lawley and Wembley Downs.

The Gala Awards Night was beautifully coordinated and it had an interesting Bollywood theme. We were all waiting in anticipation when the winner for our category was announced, and I was actually glad it was the first category to be presented so we did not have to wait through the entire evening. But alas, it wasn’t meant to be, and Adam’s BrunchBox extends our congratulations to Lightscape Concepts and Design for winning this  award.

Even though we did not receive the winning award, all of us are very proud to receive the honorary certificate in recognition of being one of the top three Finalist in this category. To us, it reflects an immense recognition of the sheer hard work each of us have put into this business. Both Andrew and I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our fantastic staff: Gina, Daisy and Man, for their constant diligence and dedication to Adam’s BrunchBox. Without them, we would never have coped with the expanding business. To be nominated as a top three finalist in less than a year of operation is a tremendous achievement for all of us.

More importantly, we would like to thank all of you - our wonderful customers, without whom this business would not be where we are today. You are the ones who breathe life into our shop every minute of every day with your smiles, little chuckles, the banter and gossip, and of course, your desire to be treated with our smooth coffee and fresh selection of food.

Adam’s BrunchBox would also like to thank the judges, the Stirling Business Association and all the sponsors for making this opportunity possible. It is indeed assuring to know small businesses like ours do receive ongoing support and recognition for the work that we do.

Cheers, Simon
